Friday 10th Feb
So it starts here for me. At 7pm I got a taxi to Natalie's (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
word_waterfall) and met Rhiannon (timdlyarrogant) who I didn't know before this (except for reading a few comments she made on Natalie's journal lol). We went to the shop accross the road from where Natalie lives and went around buying food that was light and easy to eat (such as fruit and instant meals). Natalie got a crap load of carrots o_o. haha
When we got back to hers we made lunch for the following day. Which included buttering bread, chopping lettuce and cucumbers and carrots... and other stuff. o_o I was on lettuice duty, cos I do so suck at buttering bread. With sandwiches (Natalie cut up mine into little triangles <3 which was hilarious to watch when she decided to wrap them in cling film o_o) and salads and carrots in foil, we put them in the fridge, and returned to her room to watch a butt load of Smallville. Which I enjoyed btw. Although I'm more into Buffy's adventures then Clarks...
Now all my online friends know my hours are royally screwed. Sometimes they're so bad that I get tired around 3am, fall asleep around 4am. And I had woke up late that day. So while the two normal hours girls fell asleep I was just there awake. hahaha although some of you may be happy to know I concocted a very nice fanfic plan ^_^
Saturday 11th Feb
Anyway, me with no shred of sleep (although Natalie said she thought she saw me asleep, i'm pretty sure I was awake the whole time...) we all got up and ready at 4.30am, had breakfast and went to the train station.
Alice got hyper. d00m. hahaha
It's like 5.15am and we're at the train station, which is FREEZING cold but so familiar. Everytime a worker walked past they'd look at us like 'wtf are they doing here at this time?' haha. Cos the office wasn't open, we bought our return train tickets from the machine, which I suspect one day Natalie will machine-nap and feed it money...
I got kid tickets. Yes, I know I'm an adult fare, but geez is that expensieve lol.
And we waited. It's so funny how SLOWLY the seconds go by when you're watching them, whilst trying not to freeze to death. Natalie scared me at one point, when I looked away for one second to look at the board of train times and looked back again, she was gone. She'd moved to read an advertisement or something, but geez she's fast lol.
I was annoying and hyper and scary. Alice on no sleep xD
So on the train we go. It arrived two minutes late (seemed so much longer lol). And we're spread over two tables (Nataline and Rhiannon on one, opposite sides to each other, and me on the table accross from it.) and so the long four hour train journey begins. It wasn't that bad really. I spent most of it reading Natalie and Carys' notebook on fiction. Which is awesome btw guys, you're really good ^_^
Natalie slept, Rhiannon did h/w and I listened to music and read.
The two Welsh girls I was with found English fields very fascinating <3. haha geez England is kinda crappy though.
I didn't sleep on the train. I tried. I swear a few minutes before we arrived I was so ready to. So lets say I'm running on five minutes tops sleep now o_o geez...
We're in Machester Gardens Station. I think? Hmm we need to get to Manchester Picadilly Station. The map says its just around the corner -scoffs- indeed. Well first of all we take the *wrong* corner, but managed to find a taxi, so giving in we just took it. Thankfully, or we'd be just walking in the wrong way hehe.
Once there we get a metro (after a toilet break. God bless hand driers o_O). Now the metro is a pretty sweet idea. You'd THINK. Hmm anyway... we get kid returns from Picadilly to GMEX and whoosh we're off to GMEX. It's like 10 something am so it's open. The tram stops around the back of GMEX (more walking ^_^) and we saw the queue for people buying the tickets for the day. It was long o_o
Rhiannon had ordered pre-booked tickets but they didn't arrive, I think. Anyhoo she joined that queue whilst me and Natalie went in and deposited our luggage to the cloakroom thing. Another blessing cos we could carry as little as we wanted ^_^
Once we got back outside we noticed that the queue was moving quite quickly, which was cool. We found Rhiannon and walked beside her.
I know for a fact hanging around outside of the main hall of GMEX is SCARY o_o
A guy dressed as Anakin freaked the crap outta me, I actually said this to Natalie. A little too loudly, I think cos he looked at me. And he looked pissed. Although I suppose he already looked pissed...
Sooooo we got in and my goodness this place is packed. First off we went to the photographs they were selling. Big photos which were 2 for £10 I think... and smaller ones which were 4 for £10 ^_^ I bought four. Three for me and one for Shelli (siriuslysmitten).
and Sirius for my lovely Moohead <3
Spent a while there. So many pictures! x_x then we looked around. This is like the ultimate place if you're a geek. I swear. And I was right at home, according to that Geek quiz I took. hahaha
Then we got to the queues for our lovely famous people ^_^ We went down them, looking at the prices of each autograph. I saw Robert's sign but misread it being £25 when really it was £15, so I completely ruled him out. I was most interested in going to see Matthew -squee-
So he was at lunch when we went over to his. He'd be back at 1.30. Whilst standing there I managed to get a shot of Roger Lloyd Pack (aka Crouch and Trigger)
So we wandered around a bit more then went back to his queue. He was £10 an autograph ^_^ At this price I had no intention of getting two. I was going over to him to get Lizzie's (xxrandomqueenxx) xmas present =)
He was sooooo sweet and shyish when we went up to him. I was like half star struck half smitten. haha. He asked how we were and took the picture to be autographed (mind battle: Mary the evil or Liz the angel?) went with Mary seeing as that's her real name. lol. So he signed it and I asked if I could a have a picture with him.
Meanwhile Natalie was on the phone to Carys (shorty_90) and she asked Matthew if he would talk to her cos it was her birthday in a couple days. and he did! I was literally 'aww'ing over it hehe. It was so sweet. He looked a bit nervous haha but he was really nice. I'm sure Carys would agree ^_^

and that was that. We left there buzzing and I kept calling him Neville (haha I'm such a dork) instead of Mattew. Actually I did that with all of them xD

Which nearly suffered fatal moisterisation x_x BUT its ok, after a week on top of the boiler its all gone and the words have stuck back onto the pictuere (a tiny bit left on the cover but meh).
Next we went over to Stansilavs queue, and Natalie asked if she could just have a picture with him without buying an autograph.
I don't think 'ol Krum understood what was requested, but hey Natalie is standing with VIKTOR KRUM! w00t!
Then we went to a man who was selling covers for the autographs at a £ each. Which whether or not was a bit expensieve I wasn't bothered, I needed something to put Matthew into. haha.
Rhiannon had something to give John Rhys Davies (Gimli in LOTR). It was a picture her old neighbour had of his father, with his friends. Her brother was v good friends with his father and she was pretty certain he hadn't seen that pic. Which she was right about. He was £20 per autograph x_x which was understandable as he's one of the most well known there. But still, owch. Rhiannon got one for her neighbour and we went over to him. He's a really really nice guy, with a really rich british accent (I love that haha). He spent ages talking to Rhiannon about the picture, he signed the picture for her. Then has asked for the lady's details but Rhiannon couldn't remember so he took down hers. Which is so awesome. Someone mighty famous has YOUR address, dude hahhaha. Then he gave Rhiannon an autograph for free! x_x and he shook her and Natalie's hand. I had too much in my hands and cos I hadn't said anything except probably hello when we went up to him that he didn't shake mine. BUT I got some pics ^_^
At some point that day, we were standing outside a queue, and Natalie pointed out a paper sign above Michael Shank's station, which said he wouldn't be taking any posed pictures. Suddenly, out of no where, this EXTREMELY American woman, with long black hair and an expensieve suit on turned around and started talking to us. She was his manager, and recently whilst on set a wall had fallen on him O_O fracturing his back in three places. So she didn't want him having to move more than necessary. Which is a v good reason to not lean over for posed photos -coughKrumcough-. She was really nice, and tugged on Natalie's scarf and said it was cute. hehe.
I managed to get some candit pictures of him for Shelli. I would've got an autograph but my money was kinda low o_o
I think next we went to Jorge Garcia, who was also £20 an autograph. He was only there for the Saturday so we went up to him. Rhiannon got an autograph from him ^_^
Whilst standing at Jorge's station (I know I'm bad, but I don't really know this guy) I spied on Robert who was a little way away from us.
Also got some candits of Katie at some point.

At around 2pm we left GMEX (but left our stuff there) and went to the Science museum, which was just five minutes walk away from GMEX. When we got there we booked a planitarium show that was on around 3? Um I can't remember lol. Anyway we went there and learnt about all the pretty stars. I fell asleep. HAHA o_o bad I know, but it was five mins tops, I swear. I got most of it. Then we went and got our stuff back from GMEX and got the Metro back to Manchester Picadilly.
Or so we thought. We got on the wrong one, but assumed it turned around... but yeah apparently it doesn't. We were quite far out from where we should be when a horrible ticket lady got on and told us to get off cos of course our tickets weren't valid. Then she said we would have to pay £10 each to get back OR get other transport (bus/taxi) o_o £10! it would've only cost us like £2.00 or something. Jeez, she wouldn't let us buy tickets and said if she saw us on the tram again today we'd be in more trouble. o_o She was such a bitch, I swear.
So we left the station and thankfully a bus stop was right there lol. And a bus was due in five mins ^_^ So we got on it when it arrived and all was ok. UNTIL it crashed into the back of a car. I don't know the dynamics of this, JUST that we had to change busses. x_x Finally we get back to Picadilly and now we're lost cos there's no way we know where the lodge is. Asking people didn't help either. So we got another taxi and finally were 'home'.
haha I went to sleep around 7.30pm after having a pot noodle and sandwiches and some hot chocolate for dinner ^_^ and watching half of Charmed. woot!
Sunday 12th Feb
I woke up briefly at 1am then at 5am but all in all I had around 12 hours much needed sleep lol. Getting up for real at 8am we all got ready and were out by 9somethingam lol.
We walked to GMEX. Yes walked! Saved money and wasn't that far away ^_^ but it was raining, which sucked lol.
This time we took our time around the stalls, it was less busy and all we wanted to do was see Robert and John Rhys Davies again (to give him the neighbours address ^_^). We met a cartoon artist who drew stuff like Superman and Spiderman art. He made free headshots for Natalie and Rhiannon ^_^ I took a picture of him. He was v friendly.
After him we went over to Robert. haha I must've been a bit nervous cos after paying for an autograph I totally walked through without taking a picture and having to double back xD
He was SO friendly, and you have to admit very gorgeous. Pictures give him no justice at all. Seeing as they make him look high. He just was exhausted, which made him look all drugged up and stuff. He had a cup of coffee in front of him and when we went over he just looked at us. I was like 'Am I supposed to say something' and then he just clicked and started talking. He asked us where we were from, how we were etc. He was amazed we'd come so far lol. Then he went on about having gone to a Swansea in Dorchester o_o and we were like 'there's a Swansea in Dorchester?' hahaha
After he signed my picture we asked if we could have pics with him.
When he stood up to take the pic with me, he said 'I'm sorry if I stink' as he leant over. I laughed and said 'You smell fine'. He smelt of coffee. Admittedly don't like the smell of coffee, but I wasn't holding that against him. haha

I think after that we left. Getting the tram back to Picadilly then getting a train to somewhere, connecting that to Swansea! W00t homewards!
